Preparing for COP 16 in Colombia, the need for strategic action to achieve the targets set by the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) is critical. Join the Ecosystem Services Valuation Database (ESVD) team for an engaging discussion exploring how landscape management and restoration can harmonize with economic activities to fulfil the objectives of the GBF.
This webinar, hosted by the Foundation for Sustainable Development (FSD) in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature, and Food Quality (LNV), will delve into how ecosystem services valuation can intricately inform the design of National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs). Furthermore the webinar will address the latest updates regarding the ESVD – 10 000 values reached and a 10 year jubilee paper – and give insight into the future plans for the ESVD.
Registration will open on 8 April 2024 on the ESVD website.
