Sending ESP Your Personal Information
The Ecosystem Services Partnership will only collect personal information that you knowingly and voluntarily provide us, for example, sending emails, responding to surveys and completing membership forms and registering for events (ESP conferences).
We may use this information to respond to an email or other inquiry or request, to help improve our website and our services, to customize your experience at our website, or to send updates or notices about our organization, the events we organise and the services we offer, that we think may be of interest to you. We may also combine this information with other generally or publicly available information to help us identify visitors’ preferences or interests. We may provide information that identifies you to organisations that assist us in these activities, such as helping us organise the conferences or maintain our website.
ESP collects information from its members (including names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses) for inclusion in our membership database. Access to this information is also available only ESP members and you can choose to limit what personal information your profile displays during the registration process or by updating your member profile at any time after registration. ESP will not sell or rent limited data to third parties.
When you register to the conference, ESP will make accepted abstracts publicly available in PDF. Your name, affiliation and e-mail address will be included in the Book of Abstracts to facilitate information exchange. Your name, affiliation, country, and e-mail address will also be distributed to the conference participants in a participant list. Pictures taken during the conference may be used publicly.
Sensitive information provided for the purpose of ESP conference registration and issue of invitation letters will be deleted 3 months after the conference ends and not be kept in our database, nor in the CMS of the event. Only the names, affiliations and emails of the participants will be kept in order to send updates or notices about our organization, the events we organise and the services we offer, that we think may be of interest to you.
