Sub-working group of BWG 3 – Forests & Woodlands

1. Introduction & Objectives

This biome-type includes temperate deciduous forest, temperate broadleaf and mixed forests, temperate coniferous forest, temperate rainforest, and boreal forest.

Objective: The objective of the Temperate & Boreal Forest Working Group is to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners to exchange information and discuss ideas and experiences on Assessment of Ecosystem Services provided by the various types of temperate and boreal forest ecosystems and make the information available to a wider community of users.
