ESP Steering Committee Elections: Voting is Open
Today we opened the voting for the new ESP steering committee.
In 2019 the ESP will change the composition of its steering committee and executive committee. As from today, all ESP members can elect a new steering committee. The ESP steering committee advises the executive committee, oversees the operation and governance of the ESP, and makes broader decisions affecting the general membership of the ESP. Once installed, the new steering committee will appoint a new chair and co-chair and a new executive committee.
If you are an ESP paying member, you have received an email detailing the voting procedure. If you did not receive the email, please contact [email protected]. Voting will be open in the next three weeks. If you initiate or renew your membership in that period, please get in touch and we will send you the instructions for SC voting.

Update from SWG 5 – ES and Water Management
Short overview of the outcomes from the SWG5 session at the ESP EU 2018 in San Sebastian, Spain: S5 – “Promoting sustainability through water-related concepts, approaches and tools for quantifying ES”. The session provided diversity of perspectives related to water resources, their quantification and sustainable management. There is huge resource of complex quantitative water related research with high potential for applications in sustainable decision-making.
