Announcing the funding of £15,000 for the Regional Studies Association Policy Expos

The Association has launched a new policy research initiative worth £15,000 (C. €17,000, US$18,000) to successful teams aiming to connect their work and wider communities to societal questions and policy needs.

BWG 5 members participated at the XIV MEDECOS & AEET meeting in Seville, January 2017

Members of the ESP Mediterranean working group participated in the 2017 joint meeting of the International Society of Mediterranean Ecology (MEDECOS) and the Spanish Ecological Society (AEET), celebrated between the 31st of January and 4th of February in Seville, Spain. The main focus of the joint conference was the ecology and evolution of Mediterranean ecosystems and their species, from plants to animals and also microorganisms. The 12th International Congress of Ecology ( INTECOL 2017 Beijing) organized by INTECOL will be held in Beijing, August 20-25, 2017. Online registration system is opened now, as well as abstract submission. Symposia Proposal submission is also still acceptable.

It’s a week-long celebration of Open Access, offering the opportunity for the academic and research community to learn more about the potential benefits of Open Access, and to inspire wider participation in it.
