Landscape 2018 – Call for papers

The conference Landscape 2018 – Frontiers of agricultural landscape research organised by Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) will take place 12-16 March 2018, in Berlin and Müncheberg, Germany. Registration and abstract submission are open. Abstract submission deadline is 20 September 2017.

The aim of the conference is to present recent advances in landscape research to enhance the development of sustainable agricultural land use and landscape strategies. The particular objective is to bring together key findings from relevant disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches as well as from basic and application-oriented research. Call for Papers: Joint Workshop on ES, NBS and HGGI

The EU-funded DESSIN project together with the WssTP Working Groups on Ecosystem Services and Green Infrastructure will organise a half-day workshop on ecosystem services, nature-based solutions and hybrid grey-green infrastructure in Brussels on 28 November, and invites presentations from other projects working on the topic of the event.

Call for experts EKLIPSE on Common Agricultural Policy (CAP)

EKLIPSE is inviting experts to join an expert working group to develop recommendations for Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) measures to improve biodiversity and related ecosystem services, with a focus on Ecological Focus Areas–this is a direct policy request from IUCN and the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
