One week training on Ecosystem Services Modeling

The International Spring University (ISU), an initiative of the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3), announces a 1-week training on Ecosystem Services Modeling. The training will take place from 8 – 12 October 2018 in Bilbao, Spain – just the week before the ESP Europe 2018 Conference.

Call for contributions to support the implementation of the IPBES capacity-building rolling plan

IPBES would like to invite you to kindly contribute to its work on capacity-building.

IPBES is launching a call to support the implementation of activities under three priority areas of its capacity-building rolling plan. They hereby invite contributions for 1) supporting the use and uptake of approved IPBES assessment reports; 2) developing guidance on national and (sub)regional science-policy platforms and networks; and 3) supporting the development and increasing use of learning materials on IPBES guides and assessments. ACES 2018: Call for abstracts

Call for abstracts is open for the ACES 2018 conference in Washington DC on 3-7 December 2018. Submission deadline: 4 June 2018. The conference is hosted by ACES: A Community on Ecosystem Services, along with Ecosystem Markets and the Ecosystem Services Partnership(ESP).
