Members of ESP Australia national network are hosting a symposum on ES during the ESA 2023 national conference (3-7 July) in Darwin. We would like to invite members of the ESP community based in Australia to submit their abstracts.
The symposium is titled Ecosystem Services: concepts, valuation, and applications and aims to discuss and enhance the participants’ understanding of ecosystem services (ES). The main topics include:
- What are ecosystem services?
- What are the key concepts applied within the ES arena?
- What are the main frameworks available to evaluate ES, particularly from Indigenous perspectives?
- How to value ES, especially for non-monetary values (including Indigenous values)?
- Discussion and open questions.
