Tropical forests Biodiversity sourcebook: online
The sourcebook aims to inform which data and methods can be applied to monitor some relevant Essential Biodiversity Variables (EBV) that supports the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (UNCBD) efforts to halt biodiversity loss. The EBV concept proposed by the GEO BON, Space Agencies, and the Earth Observation research community at large aims to support efforts for biodiversity monitoring.

Registration is open : 12th ALTER-Net Summer School on “Biodiversity, ecosystem services: science and its impact on policy and society”
The registration to this year’s ALTER-Net summer school on “Biodiversity, ecosystem services: science and its impact on policy and society” has been launched.
The Summer School is open to young graduate and post-graduate scientists from both within and outside the ALTER-Net network partners, as well as young professionals in related fields. The aim of the Summer School is to create an environment for studying the challenges relating to biodiversity and natural resources in an inter- and trans-disciplinary way.
