Post-doctoral position on Mainstreaming biodiversity and ecosystem services in spatial planning and policy-making
The PLANES Lab of the University of Trento invites applications for a 2-year (renewable up to 4 years) Post-doctoral researcher working on 2 projects funded by Horizon Europe on ecosystem services and biodiversity values in spatial planning and policies. The projects are large collaborative initiatives involving many top-level institutions in the EU.

PhD position on Nature-based solutions and biodiversity values in spatial planning
The PLANES Lab is also recruiting a strongly motivated PhD student (with full scholarship) to conduct research on “Furthering nature-based solutions and biodiversity values in spatial planning tools and practice”, in the framework of a new EU-funded research project. “Nature for Peace” Forum highlights the attention to local stakeholders

SEOUL, May 4 — Representatives of scientists from China, Germany, India, the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, and Viet Nam taking part in a “Nature for Peace” forum on Friday highlighted the importance of giving attention to local stakeholders in transboundary ecosystem conservation.

Riverine and Wetlands-Water Security are compromised due to diverse drivers and increasing drivers affecting ecosystem resilience and climate regulation potential.
