International training on ES management
The international training on ecosystem management for sustainable development in transboundary areas will take place on 19 – 26 October 2017 at the DMZ Ecotourism Center located in Paju-si, Republic of Korea. This one-week course is jointly organized by ESP Asia Regional Office, Gyeonggi provincial government and Gyeonggi Tourism Organization and this year thirteen participants from Primorsky Krai, Russia will attend the course bringing with their diverse transboundary nature management experiences. This workshop titled Restoring Landscapes to Improve Freshwater Ecosystems: Digital Tools for Designing Green Infrastructure Networks (GINs) will take place in Santander, Spain, 25 – 27 October 2017.
This workshop is designed to provide a robust science and technology foundation for the design and implementation of GIN.
