ESP connects over 3000 ecosystem services scientists, policy makers and practitioners who work together in more than 40 Working Groups and a growing number of National Networks on all continents. ESP regularly organises World and Regional conferences and provides many Services to further enhance the application of ecosystem services for nature conservation, ecosystem restoration and sustainable management. Call for contributions: Special issue on NBS in River Landscapes

With the aim of exploring the frontiers of planning and implementing Nature-based solutions in river landscapes, we invite high quality contributions from scholars from around the world for a proposed Special Issue in Ambio titled:  “Planning and Governing Nature-based Solutions in River Landscapes.”  The Special Issue welcomes contributions that provide insights and innovations regarding principles, barriers, and strategies for making NBS work in practice. First external review now open for the IPBES values assessment

IPBES gave a start to the external review for the first order drafts of the chapters of the IPBES methodological assessment regarding the diverse conceptualization of multiple values of nature and its contributions, including biodiversity and ecosystem functions and services (IPBES values assessment).

Conference grants within the PESFOR-W COST action
