Candidates should have a PhD or be about to obtain a PhD in landscape ecology, forestry, or another relevant discipline. Expertise in forest planning and understanding of forest growth models is necessary, including the ability to work with large data sets. Experience in forest simulation modelling and/or multi-objective optimization is considered an asset.
