Questionnaire on nature-based adaptation in the Alps for the PORTAL project

January 26, 2021 by Iskra Categories: Collaboration calls, News

The questionnaire is part of the Pathways of Transformation in the Alps (PORTAL) project, hosted by the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), which seeks to identify transformative nature-based solutions to climate change adaptation in the Alps. Read on for more information on the questionnaire, and on the PORTAL project.

Questionnaire on nature-based adaptation in the Alps

The following questionnaire serves to identify nature-based adaptation initiatives in the Alps. The Alps, and the people that depend on its biodiversity and ecosystem services, are highly sensitive to climate change and therefore are pioneering multiple adaptation actions. Assessing impacts on biodiversity of the Sziget Festival

January 26, 2021 by Veronika Kiss Categories: News

At 2019’s Sziget Festival, we presented our work at the Green Sziget section on how the Sziget Festival impacts its environment of the Óbuda island. We analysed aspects of the island’s vegetation, soil and bird species (as indicator species of ecosystems) and collected cases on how other festivals world-wide consider their environment and mitigate their impacts. In case, you are interested in our resuls, contact us.
