Bridge Spark Fund: Request for proposals

Bridge Spark Fund is a new funding opportunity by the Bridge Collaborative, aiming to expand the pipeline of integrated solutions ready to address today’s most pressing global challenges.

This new funding opportunity will award four US$150,000 awards to advance testing of solutions that benefit people and nature related to the following challenges:

  • Accelerating a low-carbon, clean air and environmentally-friendly energy future for all
  • Transforming the global food system for health and sustainability
  • Improving sanitation and wastewater management to benefit people and nature

BEES Market

This year’s BEES Market will take place on 20 December 2019 in Brussels, at INBO headquarters. The Market will be co-organised with the Belgian IPBES National Focal Point. A series of workshops will take place and linkages will be made with the IPBES Global Assessments.

The BEES market is the single event gathering research and practice on the topic of ‘ecosystems and society’ on a Belgian scale. Research institutes and academic groups, administration projects and local initiatives on nature, forestry, agriculture, ecosystem services, environmental justice, green economy etc. meet in a personal and relaxed atmosphere, learning from each other and strengthening the community.
