2018 ESP Asia Conference, 8-12 October
The 2018 ESP Asia conference will be held from 9-12 October 2018, in Dehradun, India. The theme of the conference is “Communicating and Engaging Ecosystem Services in Policy and Practice in Asia”. 2018 DMZ International Forum, 6-7 Sept
2018 DMZ International Forum will be held on 6-7 Sept, in Gyeonggi province, Republic of Korea. This forum is jointly organized by Gyeonggi Provincial Government and ESP Asia Regional Office. The theme is “Connecting People and Nature for Peace : Protected Areas and Sustainable Development in DMZ areas”.
The aim of this forum is to is to stimulate the nature-based solutions to the environmental challenges that local governments face in DMZ areas and to designate international protected areas along DMZ areas. About 200 national and international participants of policy makers, researchers, practitioners, and local residents will join this forum to promote cross-sectoral collaboration for ecosystem-based management for sustainable development of DMZ areas.
