Last month, São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), under the BIOTA Program, the Brazilian Platform for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (BPBES) and the Brazilian Plant-Pollinator Interactions Network (REBIPP) launched the Summary for Decision-makers of the 1st -Thematic Report on Pollinators, Pollination and Food Production in Brazil. CALL FOR PAPERS Ocean & Coastal Management: Special Issue – Operationalizing ecosystem services in support of ecosystem-based marine spatial planning

Back to back to the marine biome session on B1b: “Operationalizing ecosystem services in support of ecosystem-based marine spatial planning” lead by Ibon Galparsoro (AZTI)), Daniel Depellegrin (CNR-ISMAR) and Kemal Pinarbasi (AZTI) at the EU-ESP 2018 in San Sebastian we are happy to announce the dedicated special issue, which opens on 11 February 2019 on the Journal Ocean & Coastal Management.

The SI aims at addressing challenges in integrating Coastal and Marine Ecosystem Services assessment into MSP. In particular the current state of different methodological approaches focusing CMES assessment and explore current trends in CMES valuation, assessment and mapping in support of MSP and EBM.Further information can be found here.
